In class we worked with sensors and accelerometers.
Afterwards, I asked Milo about my drum machine problem.
He checked both my hardware and software and said there was no obvious issue, so the problem must be somewhere else.
We first suspected the cable, but after changing cables, the buttons still didn’t respond.
Milo swapped my Bela board for another one and tried reconnecting, it still failed.
I went home and rebuilt everything again.
I searched many Bela tutorials and rebuilt the project step by step, yet the buttons still wouldn’t communicate with the PD patch.
The repeated failure made me question this direction.
But strangely, I still want to finish it.
Maybe the failure made me competitive. I wanted to make something work.
